These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of The Big Muslim Network website, mobile application and Muslim Marriage Events services ("Services"). By registering for an account, purchasing tickets, attending events or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our Services.

1. About Us

The Big Muslim Network ("we", "our", "us") provides Muslim Marriage Events, networking opportunities, and related online services designed to help individuals meet in a halal and respectful environment.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services you must:

Be at least 18 years old.
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
Provide accurate and truthful information when registering.
Use the Services for genuine marriage purposes.
Conduct yourself respectfully towards participants, event hosts and venue staff.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where false information has been provided or where necessary to do so.

3. Registration and Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You agree to:

Keep your login details secure.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Ensure your information remains accurate and up to date.

You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.

4. Bookings, Payments, and Tickets

Bookings are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary.

A contract is formed between us once you complete your purchase and we issue a booking confirmation or ticket via email.
You are responsible for ensuring that all personal information provided during registration (such as your name, age, gender and email address) is accurate and truthful.
Tickets are valid only for the named individual and cannot be resold or transferred to another person.

Payments must be made in full before your booking is confirmed.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, although changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Attendee Cancellations: Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend no refund will be issued.
Event Cancellations by Us: If we cancel an event outright, you will receive a full refund of the face value of the ticket. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.
Rescheduled Events: If an event is postponed or rescheduled, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible. If you cannot make the new date, you will be entitled to a full refund.
Third-Party Costs: We accept no liability for any travel, accommodation, or incidental costs incurred as a result of an event cancellation or postponement.

6. The Big Muslim Network Guarantee

Our guarantee is that you will have at least one match. If you attend an event and have no matches, our guarantee means we are happy to let you attend the next available event free of charge. In order to be eligible, you must participate in an event and select matches.

7. Event Attendance

Participants agree to:

Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Behave in a halal manner and in accordance with Islamic values.
Arrive on time.
Follow instructions from event organisers.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is inappropriate, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or disruptive.

No refund will be given where removal results from misconduct.

8. Matching Process

Our Services facilitate introductions between participants.

We do not guarantee:

Compatibility.
Mutual interest.
Successful matches.
Marriage or relationships.

We do not perform background checks or independent verification of every participant's character. You are solely responsible for exercising caution and conducting your own due diligence before entering into personal or marital commitments with anyone you meet.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Harass or intimidate other users.
Share offensive, discriminatory or unlawful content.
Misrepresent your identity.
Use our Services for commercial solicitation.
Collect personal information about other users without permission.
Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of our Services.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or permanent removal.

10. Safety

While we take reasonable steps to create a safe environment, participants remain fully responsible for exercising their own judgement when interacting with others.

We recommend:

Meeting at organised events or public places.
Not sharing sensitive financial or personal information.
Reporting any inappropriate behaviour immediately.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, mobile application and promotional materials, including:

logos
branding
text
graphics
photographs
software
designs

is owned by or licensed to The Big Muslim Network and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute or use our content without prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Your use of our Services is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

These documents explain how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

13. Communications

By creating an account or making a booking, you agree that we may send you:

booking confirmations
service updates
important account notifications

Marketing communications will only be sent where you have provided your consent or we have a legitimate interest and deem it relevant and/ or necessary. You may withdraw consent at any time.

14. Availability of Services

We aim to keep our Services available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may suspend, withdraw or modify any part of our Services without notice where necessary for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to the above, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our Services.
We are not liable for the conduct of participants at events or through introductions made using our Services.
Our total financial liability to you under these Terms will not exceed the total price paid for your ticket.

We are not liable for any indirect, emotional, or consequential loss arising from event attendance or subsequent interactions.

16. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, power failures or venue closures.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately where you:

breach these Terms;
engage in abusive or unlawful behaviour;
misuse our Services; or
pose a risk to other users or our organisation.

Termination does not affect any accrued legal rights.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Where changes are significant, we will provide reasonable notice by publishing the updated Terms on our website or notifying registered users.

Continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
