How Our Marriage Events Work:
After purchasing tickets for your chosen event you will receive a confirmation email with event details such as time, date, location etc.
On the day of the event please arrive 15 mins prior to event start time in order to register, freshen up, grab a drink, and get comfy, all set and ready for the event start time.
The event will start promptly on time, those who are late will not be able to participate.
The events will run in a structured format, 1-to-1 conversations lasting 4-5 minutes, table rotations.
Everyone is reminded these are Muslim marriage events and therefore being respectful to one another including all participants and staff, following Islamic etiquette and halal interactions only.
On the event day, during and until midnight participants will be able to make selections on those who they would like to "Match" (match) or "None" (decline). Where there is a mutual match, the messaging feature will become available and both individuals will then be able to start messaging. Matches remain for 20 days and then the event automatically deletes itself. You can purchase tickets for multiple events, all events and matches will appear on your profile regardless of the number of events signed up to.
During and post event, click on "After the Date" button top right corner of the website, here you will be able to login by entering your email address and password, your profile will appear once logged in with you events list, click on events, and a pink coloured box will appear at the top of the screen showing your current live event, click on this, and you are all set for the event start, this feature becomes available once the event starts on the day.
Once logged in and the event starts, you will be able to make selections on matching, declining, and where there are successful matches start chatting as well.
Please make sure you arrive at the event a little earlier than the start time. Those who are not on time and checked in will not be able to participate in the matching and messaging feature.
